My name is Wendy McCarthy, and I am a graduate student in the M.S. Learning Design & Technology program at the University of South Florida. This E-Portfolio showcases my academic journey, professional growth, and instructional design projects developed throughout the program.

My experiences in higher education, international student services, and instructional design have inspired me to explore how technology can enhance learning and create meaningful educational experiences. About Me

My passion for education and student success has shaped my professional journey in higher education. As a Customer Care Manager at the University of South Florida, I have had the privilege of supporting students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds as they navigate important milestones in their academic journeys.

Working closely with students inspired my interest in how meaningful learning experiences are designed and how technology can enhance engagement, accessibility, and success. This passion led me to pursue the M.S. in Learning Design & Technology program at USF, where I have expanded my knowledge of instructional design, learning theories, educational technology, and eLearning development.

Through coursework and hands-on projects, I have developed skills in designing learner-centered experiences, integrating technology into educational environments, and creating instructional solutions that support diverse learners. My experiences have strengthened my belief that thoughtful design has the power to make learning more engaging, accessible, and impactful for diverse learners.
